06. Week beginning 13/10/25
This week has been full of imagination, reflection, and thoughtful learning. We began writing a formal mission log based on an exploration into space, and I loved seeing how seriously everyone stepped into the role of astronauts. The focus and attention to detail in our writing really shone through as we thought carefully about language and presentation.
In history, we stepped into role as evacuees to help us understand the impact of the Second World War on civilians. This was a powerful activity, and I was very impressed by the empathy and sensitivity shown as we considered how people might have felt during such uncertain times.
We also spent time learning about sin and reconciliation, exploring what these ideas mean and why forgiveness and making amends are important. Our discussions were mature and thoughtful, with lots of meaningful contributions.
In science, we investigated the life cycle of plants, looking closely at how plants grow and change over time.
