Week Beginning: 22/09/25

This week, Year 4 led a thoughtful assembly inspired by their RE lessons on God’s call to Abram. Through storytelling, prayers and readings, the children retold how Abram (later Abraham) was asked by God to leave his home and set out on a long journey to an unknown land. They explored themes of trust, courage and faith, reflecting on how Abram and his family followed God’s guidance despite uncertainty. The assembly included prayers written by the pupils and a reading from the Book of Genesis. It concluded with a song of hope, encouraging everyone to listen for God’s call in their own lives and to be a blessing to others.
