This week in Year 5 we have had another busy and exciting week of learning 🌟📚.

📐 In Maths, we explored lines of symmetry using mirrors to help us check reflections and identify symmetrical shapes 🔍✨. After that, we moved on to adding and subtracting decimals, focusing on lining up the digits carefully to keep our calculations accurate.

✝️ In RE, we learnt about God’s covenant with Abraham and explored how this special promise links with the beliefs and traditions of Judaism 🌟📖. We reflected on why covenants are important and how they show commitment, trust and faith.

🧪 In Science, we began planning an investigation into how friction works ⚙️🧫. We discussed what variables we might test, how to keep our experiment fair, and what we already know about forces and movement.
