In Year 4, the children have been busy writing their own twisted narratives, inspired by The Lost Happy Endings by Carol Ann Duffy. They each selected a traditional tale and innovated the ending to create a fresh, imaginative version of their chosen story. Throughout their write, the children regularly referred to the success criteria, used a thesaurus to uplevel their vocabulary for a more insightful read, and edited their work using green pen to refine and improve their writing.
