As this week is Holy Week, it has been a very special time at school. Year 3 and 4 have been working hard over the last half term, rehearsing and preparing to perform their version of the Easter Story. Their hard work payed off, as they put on a brilliant performance for their families and school. Throughout the week, we have had liturgies about Maundy Thursday, including the Last Supper and the Washing of the Feet, and Good Friday. We set our classroom up ready for a Last Supper lesson, enjoyed some juice and bread, as Jesus and His disciples did at the Last Supper, and the children were able to quote different moments from the Bible in their performance. We took part in Stations of the Cross in our school hall. At each station we discussed what was happening and said a special prayer to help us build our relationship with God further.
