26. Wb: 30/03/26
This week, our Year 6 learning focused on the events of Holy Week and their significance for Christians. On Monday, we explored the emotions of Jesus during Palm Sunday, thinking about his journey into Jerusalem. On Tuesday, we learnt about the key events of Maundy Thursday, reflecting on the actions of Peter and Judas. Wednesday’s learning centred on Good Friday, where we considered what we can learn from Jesus’ resurrection and why it is a cause for celebration. On Thursday, we took part in the Stations of the Cross, helping us to reflect deeply on Jesus’ journey. In our second lesson, we discussed why the Resurrection is the most important event for Christians.
We also proudly hosted our assembly, where we shared the events of Good Friday and reenacted the crucifixion.
