In Reading/Writing, we have begun exploring our new class text, The Promise by Nicola Davies. The story introduces a seemingly desolate city, until a nameless girl makes a promise that begins to change everything. The children have already been hooked by the powerful opening and are making thoughtful predictions about how the story will unfold. 📖✨

In Music, we have been developing our listening skills by practising echo playing rhythms and melodies by ear. The children have enjoyed responding to musical patterns and building their confidence in performing together. 🎶

In Geography, we have continued learning about natural resources. We explored how these are raw materials produced by the environment and can be grouped into renewable and non-renewable resources. The children also considered the growing demand for these resources, how shortages can occur, and the impact of overconsumption when resources are used faster than the Earth can replenish them. 🌍
