This week, Year 6 have really stepped up our SATs preparation, with a strong focus on SPaG and maths reasoning skills, as the children worked hard to build their confidence and apply their knowledge across a range of challenges. In Geography, we began exploring ecosystems, learning about the different types and how living things depend on one another within them. In RE, we opened the lesson by discussing and ranking the importance of different roles in society, encouraging thoughtful debate before considering where Jesus might be placed. We then explored the events that led to him washing the disciples’ feet, reflecting on how this humble act carried such a powerful message about service and love.
