We have begun our exciting new text, The Hound of the Baskervilles. The children have been gripped by the mysterious opening and have made thoughtful predictions about what might unfold next. These ideas will feed into our upcoming work on writing our own cliffhanger narratives.

In maths, we have been comparing and ordering fractions. Pupils have been using a range of strategies to explain their reasoning and are becoming increasingly confident in identifying fractions of different sizes.

A highlight of the week has been starting to design our very own video games. Children have explored how characters, settings and simple coding blocks work together, and they are already brimming with imaginative ideas for their game worlds.
