This week, we stepped back in time with an exciting school trip as part of our History topic on the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. The children explored how these fierce warriors lived, dressed, and travelled, bringing our learning to life through hands-on activities and immersive storytelling. We’ve continued reading our class text, Beowulf, and linked it to our History learning, the children loved making connections between the legends in the story and the facts we uncovered on our trip. In RE, the children became mini barristers and judges in a classroom court session! We examined different pieces of evidence about the resurrection of Jesus from the Bible. The children showed thoughtful reflection, excellent reasoning, and great teamwork.
