What a wonderful start we have had to the year.  We are so proud of how well the children have started to settle into nursery life. Starting something new can feel like a big step, but the children have shown great curiosity, courage, and resilience as they explore their new environment.

This week, we have focused on:

• Getting to know each other – learning names, sharing about ourselves, and building friendships.
• Exploring our nursery spaces – indoors and outdoors, discovering favourite areas to play, and learning our daily routines.
• Developing independence – practising putting on coats, tidying away toys, and making choices during play.
• Circle times and stories – enjoying songs, rhymes, and picture books together to create a sense of community.

It has been a joy to see the children beginning to feel more confident and comfortable each day.
