This week our class, Faithfulness Class, lived up to their name! On Thursday, we celebrated our first class Mass in school, following some of the children making their Sacrament of First Holy Communion recently. We have studied St. Peter and St. Paul this week in our RE lessons in preparation for their feast day on Friday. We discussed these saints during our Mass.

On Friday, we celebrated these saints again on our school's very special feast day; The Feast of St Peter and St. Paul. As is tradition at St. Simon's, Key Stage 2 walked to church to celebrate Mass with the children in Key Stage 2 from St. Peter's School. Our children sang their hearts out during the hymns at Mass and represented our school beautifully.

Another tradition for this special day was having ice cream in the church garden following Mass. The children thoroughly enjoyed their ice creams on a very hot and sunny day.
