In Science this week, Year 3 continued their Light topic. The children learnt that when an object blocks the sun's light, a shadow is formed. We went out onto the playground with some chalk to draw around shadows we could see in the playground and made some of our own too!

We came back to our chalk outlines later in the day and noticed that the shadows had moved as a result of the Earth's rotation. The children were absolutely fascinated by this!
