In Design and Technology, the children designed and made their own transition boxes for their new teacher. They explored planning, measuring, cutting, joining and decorating materials while developing their creativity and problem-solving skills. The project encouraged independence, resilience and pride in producing a personalised box to support their move into Year 5.

The children are now looking forward to making the lid for their transition box in their next upcoming lesson and adding a special gift inside for their new teacher, Mrs Johnson, to enjoy.
