We welcomed the children back to school this week following the Easter holidays, and they were ready for learning!

In Maths this week, we have done some practical lessons related to our Mass and Capacity topic. The children learnt this week that there are 1,000 millilitres in 1 litre and have had the chance to explore this using measuring cylinders and jugs of water.

In our Design & Technology lessons, the children completed a mechanisms project, where they designed and created a moving picture. The children needed to include levers and linkages in their product to help their picture to move. They have had a lot of fun throughout the design and creation process.
