This week, the year 4 children thoughtfully created their Lenten promises, approaching the task with a sense of purpose and growing spiritual maturity. After reflecting on the meaning of Lent and why Christians use this season to grow closer to God, the children discussed the difference between giving something up and taking something on as an act of kindness. 

The children's promises were insightful, meaningful and achievable.
