In P.E. this half term, Year 3 have a Rugby Coach training them in rugby-related skills. The children have risen to the challenges they have been set, showing good resilience and teamwork.

In our Writing lessons, we took part in a couple of drama activities related to our story, 'Fox' by Margaret Wild. The children took part in an activity called 'conscience alley', where they needed to give a persuasive argument to help a character make a decision. A couple of the children also 'hot-seated' as a character from the story, answering questions from the rest of the class whilst remaining in character. Both activities have demonstrated how well the children know the story we have been studying but also demonstrated their understanding of the characters, their emotions and reasons for their choices in the story.
