What a busy and exciting week we’ve had in nursery!

We have been exploring the world of music and phonics this week, discovering sounds and rhythm. The children loved playing various instruments, experimenting with playing them loudly and quietly, and exploring the difference between fast and slow tempos.

In RE, the children learnt about the special season of Advent and how we get ready to celebrate Christmas. We discussed making promises to be kind and helpful, and each child made their own special advent promise. We also worked together to create a beautiful advent wreath and candles for our classroom.

Literacy has been a creative journey! The children focused on making marks, drawing, and writing as they imagined what they would pack for an exciting adventure.

In Maths, we've been busy consolidating our understanding of essential concepts, engaging in fun activities to reinforce our learning about patterns and numbers.
