Week Beginning 14th November

What a wonderful and busy time we've had in nursery!

We've focused on the important theme of Anti-bullying Week, discussing how to be kind and helpful friends to everyone in our class. The children loved sharing ideas on how to make others smile! We have talked about who we can talk to at home and at school when we are sad and worried.

We also held a special circle time for Remembrance Sunday, talking about why we remember the people who have died. We made beautiful poppy crafts and a wreath.

In Maths we've been busy little mathematicians, exploring and investigating the number two (2)! We looked for pairs, counted two objects, and practised writing the numeral.

In RE we learnt about a very special visitor who came to visit Mary. We know that the angel brought good news. We made angels, talked about the special message and acted out the story of the 'Annunciation'.

Our block of learning was completed with our block one Sunday. We welcomed into school Greg from The Mark 10 Mission. He led a whole school celebration of the word and visited every class. It was a fantastic day filled with faith, fun, and plenty of smiles.
