Week beginning 29/09/2025

In this week's History lesson, Year 3 were learning about the concept of 'prehistory' and were given events from British History to order, all the way from the Stone Age to current day as a group. Independently, they were given events from the Stone Age to the Iron Age to order, making sure they were careful to order their 'BC' dates in chronological order.

During Forest School, we worked as a team to prepare an area of soil for planting bulbs. We're looking forward to Spring and observing their plants growing over time.

We had a very special live online Science lesson on Friday, where we celebrated World Space Week. Tim Peake, the famous British Astronaut, spoke to the children about his time on the International Space Station. They got to take part in helping a cartoon version of Tim pass his next astronaut test! The children were very excited to learn more about life in space and many were inspired to become astronauts themselves.
