Anti Bullying Week
As part of our PSHE learning this week, the Year 4 pupils explored the theme of anti-bullying to raise awareness of the impact that bullying can have on the human body and mind. The children designed informative posters highlighting issues such as anxiety, low self-esteem, social withdrawal and depression.
In celebration of Anti-Bullying Week, we also wore odd socks to school as a symbol of embracing individuality. Inspired by this, the children designed their own pair of kind 'odd socks', each one representing messages of kindness.
Together, we discussed the many forms of bullying including physical, emotional, social, and cyber and how we can all play a vital role in stopping it. One powerful message we learned is that even the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.
