07. Week beginning 20/10/25
This week has been another exciting and meaningful one for us! We were very lucky to have an important visit from the fire service, who spent time teaching us all about fire safety and what their job involves. I really enjoyed seeing how engaged everyone was, and it was fantastic to hear such sensible questions and thoughtful responses.
This week has been filled with reflection, discovery, and lots of progress. We spent time studying Saint Leopold Mandić, learning about his life and the values he lived by. I really enjoyed our thoughtful discussions and the way everyone engaged with his story and example.
In science, we looked at how humans change throughout their lives, exploring the different stages of the human life cycle. There were some great observations and questions, and it was lovely to see such curiosity about how we grow and develop.
In maths, we finished off our learning in addition and subtraction, focusing on inverse operations and problem-solving. I was so pleased to see confidence growing as we applied what we know in different ways and explained our thinking clearly.
