04. Week beginning 29/09/25
This week has been full of thoughtful learning and creativity in our classroom! We began by exploring blackout poetry, seeing how we could transform existing texts into something completely new and expressive. It was wonderful to watch creativity bloom as we carefully chose words and discovered how powerful poetry can be.
We also spent time learning about the Ten Commandments, thinking about their meanings and why they have been important to people over time. I really enjoyed our discussions, as we shared ideas about values, choices, and how these teachings can still be relevant today.
To round out the week, we stepped back in time to look at how the Second World War began. We talked about key events and causes, and I was impressed by the thoughtful questions and curiosity shown as we tried to understand this significant moment in history.
