05. Week beginning 28/09/26
As part of our English lessons, working in pairs this week, one child took on the role of Curiosity, the Mars Rover, while the other became a NASA interviewer, asking questions and responding in character. The children were highly engaged and showed fantastic creativity as they developed their own responses and conversations. It was wonderful to see the children using technical vocabulary confidently and carefully selecting language to make their role play interesting and authentic. They demonstrated excellent speaking and listening skills, building on each other’s ideas and working collaboratively to develop their conversations. The activity provided a fantastic opportunity for the children to develop their vocabulary, oracy, creativity and confidence.
