In Maths this week, we explored days, weeks and months of the year. Working in teams with four years of calendars, the children discovered that most years have 365 days (and a quarter), while every four years we have a leap year to catch up on those extra quarter days. The children also investigated calendar events and made some brilliant discoveries:
- Birthdays and Christmas: Always fall on the same date but a different day each year.
- Easter: Always falls on the same day (Sunday) but a different date each year!
