This week in R.E., the children have been exploring the concept of the communion of saints—understanding it as the community of people who place their hope in Jesus and belong to him through Baptism, both in this life and beyond. Linking this to art, the children have begun to imagine and discuss how this community might be represented visually, picturing people gathered together around Jesus in heaven, united in faith, light and love.
