This week, Year 6 returned after the half‑term break and jumped straight back into our maths learning. We explored the area of parallelograms and practised calculating the volume of cuboids, using reasoning and problem‑solving to deepen our understanding. Mid‑week, we set off on our long‑awaited Robinwood residential, where the children showed incredible resilience, teamwork and courage. They tackled a range of exciting challenges, including the giant swing, zip line and night line, supporting one another and developing confidence along the way.

It has been a brilliant week of learning, adventure and personal growth for everyone.
