This week in Year 6, we continued our learning in Maths by exploring algebra, finding pairs of values and solving problems involving two unknowns. In Literacy, we began drafting our discovery narratives inspired by The Origin of Species, focusing on developing description and building suspense within our stories. In PE, we continued our tennis unit by developing our backhand technique, concentrating on improving placement and control when returning the ball. Finally, on Friday, we all came together as a school to celebrate World Book Day!
