In Year 6 this week, we enjoyed a highly successful Forest School session, where most were able to light their own fires using flint and steel - an amazing achievement! They celebrated their success by toasting marshmallows together. In literacy, we launched our exciting new unit on newspaper reporting by exploring what it might feel like to be rescued as a refugee escaping a war-torn country, encouraging deep thought, empathy and powerful discussion.
