This week in RE we talked about when the disciples saw Jesus after he had died and how they were shocked. We led a Celebration of the Word with reception. Father Peter and our parents joined us to celebrate Joy at Easter.  In maths, we have been using the language of more than and less than. In phonics, we have been learning the phoneme /d/. We have blended words beginning with /d/ and practised our writing of known phonemes.  In forest school, we played 'Simon says'. We tried to climb through a 'spider's web' without making the bells chime. We looked for different colours in the environment and matched them. We played a 'feely game' where we tried to describe what we felt and then guessed what the object was!
