This morning, the children learnt about life cycles and were inspired to go on a mini-beast scavenger hunt to determine which insects they could find at Forest School. The children persevered well amongst the different habitats and successfully found spiders, greenflies, flies, bees, butterflies, beetles and ants. 

The children gently and respectfully handled the animals, closely exploring them with their bug catcher, soft-end tweezers and magnifying glasses before safely returning them to their natural environments.
