Although it’s only been 3 days, what a busy week we’ve had!

We’ve begun looking at our first book for our new learning block, Jack and the Beanstalk playing our own game rolling the dice to race to the top of the Beanstalk and enjoying our messy foam play.

We had our first forest school session of the Summer term where we enjoyed tug of war, parachute games and making our own  nature crowns!🌳🌿

In RE, we made wind ribbons to imagine what it felt like when The Holy Spirit came to Jesus’ friends as wind after learning about how Jesus sent down the Holy Spirit to his disciples after he ascended to heaven. We tested these outside and let them fly in the wind, imagining the Holy Spirit wad flying through the wind with us. 

For Fun Friday it was Art themed and we celebrated the upcoming World Cup. Reception were given England, so we finger painted our own England flag today. We discussed all things English, so it was only right at snack time we had scones to make it feel like we were having our own afternoon tea.
