27. Week Beginning: 02/03/26

In Science, the children have been learning about water cycles; a continuous process that moves water around the Earth in four main stages. First, water evaporates when heat from the sun warms oceans, lakes, and rivers, turning liquid water into water vapour that rises into the air. As the water vapour rises and cools, it condenses into tiny droplets, forming clouds. When these droplets become too heavy to stay in the air, they fall as precipitation, which can be rain, snow, sleet, or hail. Finally, the water collects and flows through rivers and streams, or soaks into the ground, eventually returning to the sea, where the cycle begins again.
