After the half term break, Year 3 have been straight back into the swing of things this week. We began learning to multiply and divide by 3. We have used cubes and counters to help us create groups for multiplication and sharing to divide. We then moved onto drawing groups to answer word problems involving multiplication and division by 3.

In Forest School, the children were taught how to start a fire using firesteels and cotton wool. The excitement from the children when they managed to light their cotton wool ball on fire was electric!
