Week beginning 7/4/25

During our forest school lesson, on the field in the glorious sunshine, we’ve been making quesadillas—delicious Spanish-style wraps—cooked over an open fire. The children enjoyed a tomato and cheese filling. Once wrapped, we toast them over the flames until they’re golden and melty inside. It’s a fun, hands-on way to learn fire safety and simple outdoor cooking. The children also planted saplings of oak, hazelwood and cherry trees which should grow as tall a house with some tender care. Our lesson finished lesson with a marsh mellow treat! Yum!!
