This week, it was time to help Hansel & Gretel, who were lost in the woods! We worked together to change our role-play area into a gingerbread cottage, just like the one in the story. We painted and coloured lots of sweets to decorate it. We made witches' potions in our water area and wrote down our very own potions in the writing area! We thoroughly enjoyed our bug hunting and bird feeder making in Forest School this week. The wet and warm conditions were perfect for finding lots of minibeasts. 

To finish the week, we celebrated St Peter & Paul's Day in school. As this is the feast day of our school namesake, we were very thankful to Father Peter for sending us an ice cream as a special treat!
