Our learning 2025-26
This week in Computing, the Year 4 pupils have been learning about online safety.
They explored the importance of protecting their digital footprint and online identity by sharing only minimal personal information on their profiles. Using a case study of “Aimee Bloggs,” who had posted unnecessary details such as her full name, date of birth, contact information, school, class, teacher and photo identification, the children discussed how this could put her at risk. Together, they suggested safer alternatives — for example, editing her profile and removing sensitive content so that only Aimee’s first name and an avatar are visible.
