What a week in the sunshine!

This week our focus text was Little Red Hiding Hood. In Literacy, we wrote a list of items to take in our basket, explored what could be inside the basket and even had a go at hot seating, pretending to be the characters and thinking about what we would say or ask!

"What big teeth you have!" - Lara

"Granny, why do you look different?" - Izzy

We are class of budding artists 🤩 We used charcoal and oil pastels to create our own wolves after reading Little Red Riding Hood, I was so impressed with them all ! 🐺

We have enjoyed so much time outside in the sunshine this week, chalk painting and all the water play to cool us down!

It was MUD WEEK in forest school and we loved it!! It started off with a water fight, then we cooled down in the mud kitchen making mud pies, playing mud bullseye and even did some mud painting!

Our week ended with an ice cream to cool us down.
