My name is Mrs Bracken and this is my first year as a Teacher at St. Simon’s. I returned to the classroom in January this year having taken a career break to be a full time mother. Our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Milner who has worked here for 6 years and whose daughter is now in year 6.

The children have settled into Key Stage 2 now and are more used to the different routines and expectations. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, or concerns.
We had an interesting and fun day at the Hat Works Museum. The children learnt how hats are made and how they were made before factories were built. They discovered how the process of felting turns two strands of wool into a strong piece of material. Also, they enjoyed making their own piece of felt.
