Health and Welfare

"All pupils feel safe."   Ofsted report Nov 2014

The school doctor visits our school and parents are invited to be present at any examination or treatment their child may receive.

Routine checks are made by the health visitor, school nurse, school dentist and orthoptist.

Occasionally there are outbreaks of headlice in school.  Do ask for advice from the school nurse and Health Centre if your child should be affected.

Emergency Contact Numbers

When children are ill at school, parents are contacted by telephone, either at home or at work.

Sick pupils are cared for by a member of staff until their parents arrive.

Please make sure that the school can contact you in an emergency.

We need your home telephone number, any current mobile phone numbers and parents' work's numbers.

It is also extremely helpful if there is someone you can nominate for us to contact in an emergency if you are not available at any of the numbers we have for you.

Please inform the school immediately of any change to the telephone numbers, and/or your address.
