This week we celebrated VE Day at school. In Year 3, we took some time to learn more about this special day which took place 80 years ago and what we can continue to do to promote peace in the world. We made special Union Flag hats to wear during lunch and created a window display, where we made promises to be peacekeepers. It was a lovely day filled with stories from history, inquisitive questions and hope for the future.
