Week Beginning 6th May
This week we had great fun during our first Forest School session. We played different games, we made some leaf rubbings and painted colourful butterflies. We learnt a bit more about some mini-beasts we might find outside too.
In our maths we have been learning some positional languages. We also sang the rhyme 'Humpty Dumpty'.
We had fun on our bikes, moving safely around our track.
We celebrated the 80th anniversary of VE Day which signals eight decades since the end of the Second World War in Europe. We took part in an assembly, reflected during our minute's silence.
In phonics, we have been learning to hear different phonemes and read them to make words. We have also been trying to write the sounds we hear.
