We welcomed the children back for their final half-term of the year this week and there has been lots of learning and laughter!

We are coming towards the end of reading 'The Iron Man' by Ted Hughes and created story maps to help us visualise the story as it was being read to us, ready to create a newspaper report on the events next week.

On Thursday, a rugby coach from Burnage Rugby Club joined us and led us in some activities, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. They quickly got to grips with the rules and were interested in how the rules were very different to football, as well as the culture of the sport.

Friday brought us an annual event at school which the children have been really looking forward to - The Talent Show! We were very proud of all the children in our school who showcased a range of different talents, including one member of Year 3 who came third for her super gymnastics and dancing skills!
